Annwyl Parents and Carers,

Pupils have now completed their EPIC (Everybody Planning in Class) sessions, and teachers will soon be sharing the Pod Project Overviews with you. These will give you a glimpse into the exciting learning journeys ahead. As always, if you have anything you think would enhance our topic, please let us know.

We’d also love to welcome you to our Pod Open Evening on Monday 6th October. This is a great opportunity for you to explore your child’s workshops and let them proudly show you around. Our teachers will be available throughout the evening to chat and answer any questions you may have. The pods will be open from 3:40pm after pupils have been collected.

Finally, a big thank you to Mrs Blackmore for her hard work in refreshing the Reception outdoor area after the recent weather. The new flowers look beautiful and help create a warm, welcoming space for everyone.

 

 ✨Mrs Gosney’s Corner: Growing Together at Home and School ✨

As a school, we are committed to teaching positive behaviours and supporting your children to meet our high expectations. Our inclusive learning environment has been created by adult behaviour that is both strong on boundaries and big on heart. We are delighted that the work we follow in school has been made accessible to families, and over the next few months we will be sharing some ideas in this blog. There will also monthly live events you can attend online. There will be an hour-long ‘Behaviour Bookclub’ session, hosted by Charlotte Clarke from When The Adults Change, online at 8:00pm on the last Thursday of each month. We will send this link to you as soon as it is available.  In addition you can buy a copy of ‘When The Parents Change, Everything Changes’ online here

What's the buzz from the pupils this week? What do you love about about autumn?

Pod Pengwin: I love conkers!! We have been cleaning them out and we had to wear goggles.

Pod Pysgodyn: I love it when the leaves start falling and they get all crunchy but most of all, it is nearly time for the Monster Ball!

Pod Pry Cop: I love that it starts getting cold and I love the smell of pine cones!
