Pod Information
Life in Pod Pry Cop
Pod Pry Cop is home to our Year 4, 5 and 6 pupils.
As our pupils move through the pod, we encourage them to become increasingly independent, confident and responsible learners. Children are given opportunities to work collaboratively, challenge themselves, make choices about their learning and take an active role within our school community.
We believe that happy children learn best, so building positive relationships and creating a safe, supportive environment is at the heart of everything we do.
Learning in Pry Cop
Learning across the pod is planned to give pupils opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills in meaningful and exciting ways.
Children may work independently, with a partner, in groups or alongside an adult depending on the learning taking place. We encourage pupils to think about where they are in their learning, what their next steps are and how they can challenge themselves further.
What Does Progress Look Like?
Every child progresses at their own pace. Our progression approach helps pupils move from being introduced to new knowledge and skills towards being able to understand, apply, analyse, create and evaluate independently.
