Technical Information About This Website’s Accessibility

Llanrhidian Primary School is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.

Non-Accessible Content

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

  • Some images do not have a text alternative, so people using a screen reader cannot access the information. We plan to add alt text to all images by December 2025.
  • Some PDFs published before September 2023 are not fully accessible. We are reviewing these and will replace or update them where possible.

Disproportionate burden

Fixing some older documents and media would be a disproportionate burden due to resource constraints. However, we will ensure that any new content meets accessibility standards.

Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations

PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 are exempt unless they are essential to providing our services.

What We’re Doing to Improve Accessibility

We are committed to ongoing improvements and regularly review our website to ensure accessibility standards are met.
