Annwyl Rhieni a Gofalwyr,

We hope you have all enjoyed the four‑day week. The lovely sunshine has meant we have been able to spend lots of time outside, making the most of our wonderful school field. The children have been busy practising for our upcoming School Sports Day, taking part in running races, hurdling, and the always‑popular egg‑and‑spoon races. There has been plenty of energy, laughter, and determination as everyone gives it their best go.

This week, pupils have also been developing and applying a wide range of Design and Technology skills. We have seen an amazing variety of creations, including cars, balloon‑powered vehicles, boats, and even helicopters! In Pod Pry Cop, excitement has been high as children experimented with battery‑powered cars, testing what works best and improving their designs.

Mr Colourful is getting ever closer to building his dream vehicle, ready to travel the world and explore its many wonders, and the children have loved helping him along the way with their creative ideas and problem‑solving skills.

We are really looking forward to welcoming you to our Teatime STEM event on Monday 18th May. It will be a great opportunity for children to share their learning, show off their fantastic creations, and enjoy some hands‑on activities together. We hope to see as many of you there as possible!
