A Lovely Week at School!
Dear Parents and Carers,
What a wonderful week we have had here at school!
We were delighted to welcome teachers and headteachers from other schools who came to visit us and experience learning in Y Goedwig. Our visitors enjoyed cooking and eating around the fire before taking part in a fantastic outdoor learning session with Mrs Parry, who taught everyone how to carve their own spinning tops. It was wonderful to see so many people developing new skills, embracing the outdoors and enjoying all that Y Goedwig has to offer. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed their adventure and left feeling inspired by the learning opportunities available to our children.
As always, we are incredibly proud of how our pupils use Y Goedwig as an exciting space to learn, explore and build confidence through real-life experiences.
Looking ahead, we are very excited for next week's Spooktacular Monster Ball! We would love for you to join us for an evening of fun and festivities. Come along dressed as your favourite character and enjoy music and entertainment with DJ Dan in the marquee. You can also warm up with a delicious hot chocolate and toasted s'mores in Y Goedwig, or treat yourself to a tasty hotdog from our Caffi Cynefin Kitchen
We are looking forward to welcoming everyone and celebrating together. It promises to be a fantastic evening for the whole school community.
The Governor Report to Parents is now available to view. Please take a few moments to read the report, which provides an overview of the school's achievements, developments and key information from the past year: Llanrhidian Primary School - Annual Report to Parents and Carers
Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
Diolch yn fawr,
The Llanrhidian Primary School Team

We are delighted to share that Pili-Pala class has been generously donated a set of small black rucksacks for the children. Even more exciting, each rucksack has been personalised with a special keyring, making it easy for children to recognise their own bag.
These lovely bags are a wonderful gift, and you may wish to use them as your child's school bag for carrying their daily essentials to and from school.
π’ Please can all Pili-Pala pupils wear trainers to school on Fridays for their PE sessions. πβοΈβ½πβοΈ
π Trainers help the children to take part safely, comfortably and confidently in all PE activities.
Please check your child's Ipayment account as we are off on a school trip on Friday October 23rd to the Wetlands Centre. There is a consent form for you to complete in preparation for this day out.
Diolch for your continued support. We are looking forward to another exciting week of learning and adventure in Pod Pengwin! ππ³π
Mrs Parry is continuing to develop her Woodworking for all the children in the school and would really like to buy some new clamps for the Poly tunnel woodwork table. These would enable her to work with larger groups of children. Please see our Amazon wishlist below if you would like to support buying these clamps.

π¨Parish News
We have been invited to enter the Parish News December Magazine Front Cover Competition.
This is a wonderful opportunity for pupils to showcase their creativity. Designs should fit within a space measuring 10cm wide × 8cm tall, so pupils will need to think carefully about creating an eye-catching design in a small area.
Please encourage pupils to include our fantastic Mr Colourful in their artwork where possible.
π Deadline for entries: Friday 6th November
We can't wait to see the children's creative designs! π¨β¨
A huge thank you to all our parents and carers for your support with attendance and punctuality. Since September, we have seen a fantastic improvement in lateness across the school! π
Your efforts in helping children arrive on time mean they are ready to learn from the start of the day and make the most of every opportunity.
Thank you for working with us and supporting your children to develop such positive habits. Together, we're making every day count! ππ
