This block of Choice and Challenge should focus on the following skills...

WAGOLL:
Project Title: "Plan Your Own Music Festival!"
"I've been chosen to become the ultimate festival organiser! My job is to design my very own music festival — from the stages and snacks to the sounds and stars! I’ll write about my festival, build a mini version of it, use fractions to plan my audience, and even create a step-by-step guide for festival-goers. Let’s get the party started!"
 What I’ll Do:
Non-Chronological Report: "All About My Festival"
- Write an exciting report about my festival with sections such as:
- Festival Name & Theme (e.g., "Rainbow Rhythms", "Rockin’ in the Park")
 - Types of Music (pop, rock, classical, world music)
 - Headline Acts
 - Food & Fun Zones
 - Eco-Friendly Features

 - Use headings, subheadings, and illustrations to organise your writing.

 Fractions in Action:
- Plan my audience using fractions:
- "½ of the crowd loves pop music, ¼ prefers rock, ⅛ likes jazz, and the rest enjoy classical."

 - Use fractions to divide food stalls, stage time, or ticket types.
 - Create a bar chart or pie chart to show my data.

 Unplugged Algorithm: "Festival Flow!"
- Design a step-by-step algorithm for a visitor’s journey:
- Example: "Start at the entrance → Visit the Pop Stage → Grab a snack → Dance at the Silent Disco → Exit through the merchandise tent."

 - Use arrows, symbols, or a flowchart to show the path clearly.

 3D Cardboard Festival Model:
- Build a mini version of your festival using cardboard and craft materials.
 - Include:
- Stages
 - Food vans
 - Chill-out zones
 - Tents or seating areas

 - Label each area and match it to your report.
