We are turning our favourite Welsh things into poems. The objects will help us build pictures in our minds—just like real poets do!

Rugby roaring on the field,
Players running fast and strong.

Swansea City scoring goals,
Crowds all cheering loud and long.

Warm Welsh cakes on the griddle,
Sweet and soft and round.

Delicious leeks in the ground
Crunchy, green and smelly.

Waves that splash along the beach,
Sand between my toes…
