1.A Portrait of your mum.

Mrs Rees is a very special mum and it has been 20 years since she last had her portrait painted. What about your mum? Has she ever had her picture painted? Do you think you could paint a picture for your mum. What colour hair has she got? what colour eyes?

2. LO to group and share objects and quantities, moving towards equal-sized groups. #LlanNum Mr Clarke has collected lots of flowers on his way to work today. He would like to share them equally between Ramona, Otang and even Spot but they are having a lot of trouble sharing out the flowers. Can you help them to share the flowers equally so that they both have the same amount.

 

3. LO:To imitate art techniques with a range of resources e.g., clay, printing etc.#LlanExp

Mrs Blackmore is a lover of nature and would love to create a gift using clay and natural materials such as flowers, leaves. 

 

4.LO:To demonstrate an awareness of danger #LlanHealth. Miss Harris mother is Italiian and shows her love through food and makes beautiful Pizza's. Miss Harris would like to show you her mother's Pizza Pockets of love and for you to make them on the fire with Miss Blackmore and Mrs Parry.

Otang would like to send his mum some special banana flavour chocolates for Mother's Day. Unfortunately his mum lives in a home for retired orangutangs in Brazil. You can only travel to the home via the Amazon river. Otang would like you to make a vessel to hold the chocolates and to float them down the river. Can you test the materials that we have in the class to see which ones float and which ones sink?
