Over the weekend, Mr Colourful has been dreaming BIG — outer‑space‑big! He’s decided that it’s finally time for him to set off on his very first space mission. He’s packed his rainbow‑coloured space boots, his sparkly space goggles, and even a snack (a cosmic carrot, of course).

But there’s just one tiny problem…

Mr Colourful doesn’t have a rocket!
No rocket… means no blast‑off… which means no space adventure!

Luckily, Mr Colourful has heard that YOU are expert inventors.

He’s discovered a super‑clever idea:
A rubber band–powered launcher!

You will need:

• Short pencil or popsicle stick

• Thin rubber bands (2)

• Cardboad tube (2 empty toilet paper tubes or empty paper towel tube cut in half)

• Packing tape or other strong tape

• Scissors

• Cotton balls

• Single hole punch
