Equipment List 

  • Plastic bottles (car body)

  • Bottle caps / wheels

  • Wooden skewers / straws (axles)

  • Card or plastic (propeller)

  • Elastic bands or small motors

  • Tape, glue, scissors

  • Hole punch or sharp pencil (adult support)

Instructions

1️⃣ Make the car body

  • Take your plastic bottle

  • This will be the main body of your car


2️⃣ Add the axles

  • Push a straw through the bottle (front to back)

  • Do the same at the other end

  • Slide a stick (skewer) through each straw

💡 These will help your wheels turn!


3️⃣ Attach the wheels

  • Push a wheel onto each end of the sticks

  • Make sure they can spin easily

✅ Your car should now roll!


4️⃣ Make the propeller

  • Cut a propeller shape from card

  • Bend the blades slightly so they catch the air


5️⃣ Add the power

  • Attach your propeller to the front or back of the car

  • Use an elastic band (twist it tight!) or a motor to spin the propeller


6️⃣ Decorate your car 🎨

  • Make your car colourful and fun!

  • Add patterns, stickers, or even a racing number


7️⃣ Test your car 🚀

  • Put your car on the floor

  • Let the propeller spin

  • Watch it move forward!
