    Power Up!

When we compare numbers, we are finding out which number is greater than, less than, or equal to another number.
We use three symbols: > means greater than, < means less than, and = means equal to.
The wide, open side of the < or > symbol always faces the larger number, while the point faces the smaller number.
    For example, 7,245 > 6,890 because 7,245 is greater than 6,890, and 3,456 < 8,123 because 3,456 is less than 8,123.
When two numbers have the same value, we use =, such as 5,678 = 5,678.
