Dear Parents & Carers,
Thank you to everyone who attended our Movie Night on Tuesday. We hope the children had as much fun as the staff did watching Muppets Haunted Mansion!
It was wonderful to see so many children enjoying the evening, and we would like to thank you for your continued support of our school events.
We are already looking forward to our Christmas Movie Night on December 15th and can't wait to share another fun-filled evening with the children.🎬🍿🎄
We are delighted to share that we have finally received our CIW registration and will be launching our new Plantos Pili Pala Wraparound Club for Nursery pupils.
This is a fantastic addition to our school and will provide families with access to affordable, high-quality childcare in a familiar and nurturing environment. We hope this new provision will offer greater flexibility and support for parents and carers.
We are also pleased to confirm that childcare vouchers and eligible childcare funding schemes can be used towards the cost of the provision, helping to make childcare more accessible for our families.
🦋 Plantos Pili-Pala Wraparound Care
Our Plantos Pili-Pala Wraparound Care provides a nurturing, play-based afternoon provision for Nursery-aged children, offering a smooth transition from morning Nursery to the end of the school day.
🕛 Afternoon sessions available daily
👧🧒 For Nursery pupils
💷 £20 per afternoon (11:45-3:30pm)
✅ Welsh Government Childcare Offer accepted for eligible families

Pod Pili-Pala Updates

📢 Please can all Pili-Pala pupils wear trainers to school on Fridays for their PE sessions. 🏃♀️⚽🏃♂️
👟 Trainers help the children to take part safely, comfortably and confidently in all PE activities.

This week, Nativity parts for our Christmas production, Higgledy Piggledy Nativity, will be sent home.
We have worked with the children to choose roles that they are excited to perform. If you need any support with costumes, please let a member of staff know. We have a selection of costumes in school and will do our best to help wherever possible.

Pod Pysgodyn Updates
Check your child’s bag! 🎄
This week, Nativity parts for our Christmas production, Higgledy Piggledy Nativity, will be sent home.
We have worked with the children to choose roles that they are excited to perform. All of the Pod Pysgodyn children will have speaking parts, and our Year 3 children in particular will have plenty of lines to learn, so please encourage them to practise at home.
If you need any support with costumes, please let a member of staff know. We have a selection of costumes in school and will do our best to help wherever possible.

🎭 Prop & Sip Night ☕
Join us on Thursday 19th November at 3:30pm for our Prop & Sip afternoon! Come along and help create props for our upcoming Christmas production of Shrek. Bring along any ideas and glue guns you may have, and we'll provide the biscuits! 🍪 We would love to see as many of you there as possible.

Costume lists will be sent home shortly after half-term, so please keep an eye out for details.

Children should practise their scripts and songs over half-term to help them feel confident and prepared for the show.
Attendance Matters

As we head into the colder months, we're seeing attendance starting to dip across the school. We know winter bugs can be difficult to avoid, but where children are well enough to attend, every day in school counts. 📚✨
Over the coming weeks, we'll be helping children stay healthy by promoting good handwashing, healthy habits and ways to keep germs at bay. 🧼✨
