We're back! The final half term of the summer with lots of exciting events still to come! As we enter this delightful time of year, it's the perfect opportunity to celebrate the tremendous progress our pupils have made. With the lovely weather, we are excited to embrace outdoor learning experiences that not only enhance our pupils' education but also allow them to enjoy the natural environment. This season is a wonderful time for reflection and anticipation as we look forward to the year ahead, filled with new challenges and achievements. Our approach to the curriculum of 'Learn, Understand, Apply' has been embraced fully by pupils and staff and is something we are very proud of. We are delighted at how far our learners have come and eagerly anticipate the many more milestones they will reach.

Keep an eye out for the summer raffle tickets which have been sent out in your child's bag! The raffle will be drawn at the end of the summer term. Our 'Bring a Raffle' and non school uniform day will be held on July 5th. As always, thank you for your support.

Mrs Parry and the school bank meet weekly to count and save the pennies! If you are interested in your child opening a school bank account, please contact the office for more information.

What's the buzz from the pupils this week? "Cwestiwn yr Wythnos!" We ask pupils a weekly question in order to feed into our school improvement. Parents and carers can have a say by clicking here. "Which has been your favourite topic this year, why?"

Pod Pengwin: "I loved when we did Chinese writing. We had to write our name in Chinese. It was really fun."

Pod Pysgodyn: " I have enjoyed learning about Disney in Paris, Jesse Owens, The World War and litter picking. I also love doing football"

Pod PryCop: "I like 'Allez les Champions' because we have done a lot of sport and exercise. I find it really fun. I really enjoyed 'True Colours' because we did the Christmas show and I loved the adrenaline when I did it.

Mr G's Internet Safety Tip of the Week: What are the risks of livestreaming and using video apps

Livestreaming allows broadcasting to an audience in real time. Viewers can comment, like, and "gift" the streamer. Children and teenagers are spending more time on livestreaming and video apps, which may involve risks. It's important to understand and address these risks to keep them safe. Please click on the link for more information.
