Game 1: 

Place Value Dice

• Pupils roll dice to create 2-, 3- or 4-digit numbers.

• Compare with a partner using <, > or =.

Game 2:

Base – 10 Blocks or Place Value Counters

• Build two numbers with Dienes or counters.

• Pupils physically compare what has more hundreds/tens/ones.

Game 3:

Card Deck Challenge

• Use playing cards 

• Pupils draw 2–4 cards to build numbers.

• Compare with a partner – highest number wins.
