
Game 1:
Split into twos
Deal 2, 3 or 4 cards each
Pupils round to the nearest 10,100 or 1000 and the biggest number wins.
Game 2:
Mark four corners of the playground as different rounding answers (e.g. 20, 30, 40, 50).
Teacher calls a number (e.g. 44).
Pupils run to the correct rounded answer corner (40).
Game 3:
One pupil sits in the “hot seat”.
Teacher (or peers) call out a number.
Hot seat pupil has 5 seconds to round it correctly.
Can be team-based for extra competition.
