Croeso Pili Palas to our new and exciting Spring Term. We are going to be learning lots about our wonderful school grounds and will be studying the changes that we see as we journey through the Winter months to Spring.

LO to investigate, collect and record data found in their environment  

It is that special time of year again where we use our senses of sight and hearing  to discover what birds live in Y Goedwig. How can we attract the birds? What do we need to spot them?

Launch Day 

LO: To identify what they might do and who they might see in different places.  Imagine you’re moving to a new country—what would you pack in your suitcase? Just like Floella did in Coming to England, choose the things that matter most to you!

LO: To respond to local, national and international foods, showing an interest in unfamiliar foods/taste. 
Get ready to take your taste buds on a world tour! Can you guess which country your next bite comes from? Mrs Parry, Mrs Blackmore and Miss Jones have been busy in the kitchen preparing delicious surprises from around the globe. 

LO: To experience basic fundamental movement skills related to a developing sense of agility, balance and coordination.  Get ready to move! We’re creating a powerful dance inspired by the HAKA—but with our own Llanrhidian twist.

LO: To use a growing range of art resources to create drawings, paintings, and models which represent ideas, feelings and memories, talking simply about what their art means.  Let’s show the world what Llanrhidian stands for! We’re designing our very own Welcome Flags to celebrate who we are and the values that make our school special.
