    Map Activity!

Here is a map of India... where do you think three oceans meet?

    Did You Know?

Kanyakumari is the southernmost tip of mainland India. Where is that?
It is where the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean meet.
People visit Kanyakumari to see the sunrise and sunset over the ocean and to feel the meeting of three waters.

Kanyakumari is mainly urban but does have rural parts.

    Your Tasks:

    1. Colour and label the map of India (15 minutes - how many cities can you correctly add?)
    2. Make sure you have labelled the capital of India!
    3. Label the three bodies of water: Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, Indian Ocean.
    4. Mark Kanyakumari (where the three oceans meet) with a star.
    5. Draw the route Sejal, her mother, and Paati might take from north to south.
    6. Add one thing you imagine seeing on the journey (e.g., food, landmark, animal).
