Here is our original poster...PEST children discovered that pupils would like a positive poster showing what behaviour should be and not what it shouldn't. On an A5 piece of paper, re-design a new poster under the headings, 'Respectful, Kind and Supportive'.

Here are some ideas to help you get started!

    Respectful (Instead of Rude)

    • If someone says or does something and they think about others’ feelings.
    • They act intentionally to be considerate, planned and thoughtful.
    • They listen and respond kindly.
    • They show respect and care, even if they make a mistake, they apologize sincerely.

    Kind (Instead of Mean)

    • If someone says or does something to make others feel good.
    • They act on purpose to help or encourage.
    • They choose words and actions that are friendly and supportive.
    • They think before they speak or act, aiming to include and uplift others.

    Supportive (Instead of Bullying)

    • If someone repeatedly shows care and kindness.
    • They check in with others, making sure everyone feels safe and valued.
    • They stop if someone feels uncomfortable.
    • They work together and celebrate differences, creating a positive environment.
