Let's Activate Our Prior Knowledge... What is 'show not tell'... beth wyt ti'n meddwl?

🔥 Warm up – “Emotion Charades… with a Twist!”

1. You will pick an emotion card.

2. Act out the emotion without using obvious actions.

3. Let your partner guess your emotion using clues from your body language and movement.

Well this is exactly what writers do... they give clues! They don't always tell the reader everything in an obvious way.
