    Pie Corbett - Character Description

    LO. To 'cold write' a character description.

    Think of a character from a reading book, movie or cartoon. Close your eyes and imagine you're standing in front of that character.

    What are they wearing? What colour hair do they have? What hair style do that have? What do they look like? Where do they live? Do they have any special abilities? What do they sound like?

    Can you describe your character with as much detail as possible?

    LO. To visualise a character description.

    Read the differentiated character descriptions and then draw what you think the character looks like. You should include everything in the character description. 

    Here is an example:

    Chilli 2 - Use the word bank to help you create simile sentences. Rewrite the sentences into your books.

    Chilli 3 - Use these sentence starters to create your own simile sentences.
