Let's activate our prior knowledge! What is an angle? Beth wyt ti'n feddwl? Let's use our placemats to answer these questions...

    1. What is an angle?
    2. What unit is an angle measured in?
    3. Which way is clockwise?
    4. Which way is anti clockwise?
    5. How many degrees is a full turn?
    6. How many degrees is half a turn?
    7. How many degrees is a quarter turn (or right angle?)

    Warm Up:

Does it matter if Mo turns clockwise or anticlockwise? Will this always be true? How do you know?

Did you know... different angles are called different things, depending on their size?

In partners, can you make different angles with your body?
