You could present fractions like this:

• 3/11 of the team are defenders.

• 1/11 of the team is the goalkeeper.

• 4/11 of the team are midfielders.

• 3/11 of the team are strikers.

• 6/11 of today’s goals were scored by one player.

or 

You could draw:

• A pitch diagram divided into 11 equal players, shading the correct number for each position.

• A bar model showing goals scored.
