Easter Eggstravaganza.
1. LO:To ask relevant questions about something they have heard.#LlanLit
Listen to the story of Easter and think about Easter story Literacy - listen to the story.
2. LO to estimate number of objects e.g how many beads can you hold in your hand? #LlanNum
Ramona and Otang were arguing about who could hold the most bananas in their hand. Otang said that he could hold 100 bananas in his hand? Do you think this is true? I dont think Otang is very good at estimating.
What is estimating?

Mr Clarke is a PE expert and would like to learn more about how animals move. Can you show him how to move like an Easter animal?
4. Y Goedwig.
LO:To know that animals live in different places, e.g. land, sea, air, underground #LlanSci
Otang and Ramona have heard lots of noises in the night and someone or something has been stealing Spots sausages. Do you know who it can be? and what can we do to find out? Lets think of a plan to try and find out who visits Y Goedwig at night?
1.Monday - set the footprint trap.
2.Tuesday - investigate signs of animal. Can you use the fact file and footprint chart to find out what animals visit Y goedwig?
5.LO:To show understanding of different writing formats, e.g. cards #LlanLit. Mrs Mabbett loves the Easter Bunny and would like to make a card to leave out on Easter Sunday as a thank you for the lovely gifts she receives. Would you like to make a card to share with your family to give thanks for Spring and the start of new growth and life?
6.LO to begin to collect group data using a bar chart
LO to answer questions about the data, e.g. when counting results on a pictogram #LlanNum
Why do theses buns have crosses on them? What different flavours do they come in? Can you all taste the variety of buns and then create your own tally chart by asking your friends what their favourite flavour was?

7.LO:To explore the properties of materials

Humpty Dumpty has again fallen off the wall and has a large crack in his shell. He will need to be transported to hospital and will require a special suit so that he doesn't break. What material will you make Humpty's suit out of? Why did you choose that material? What will it look like? How will you test it?
8.LO:To begin to write using familiar words and phrases. Lo:To discriminate between letters. #LlanLit. Can you write an explanation about who you think stole Spots Sausages from Y Goedwig? Can you use the connective 'because' and give a sensible reason.#LlanLit
9. LO to order and compare numbers up to 20. #LlanNum. It is our annual Easter egg hunt and the Easter Bunny has hidden numbered eggs in Y Goedwig. Can you find one each and then put them in order?
10.LO: To use simple measuring equipment with assistance e.g. metre rulers. #LlanNum
It is our annual egg rolling competition and we are looking to see whose egg can roll the furthest. Who will be the winner? What is your technique?

Miss Blackmore is really interested in birds and would love to create a special nest using straw and clay? Would you like to experiment with clay and create a pinch pot. Miss Blackmore would love to show you how to do this technique.
