  • Reviving the Wonders: An Artistic Mission from Mr Lliwgar.

LO: To imitate and use simple art techniques through a range of different media with more control and success, recognising these ideas can change.

During his travels, Mr Lliwgar – International Man of Mystery – discovered incredible stories about the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World. He learnt how these breathtaking structures once stood tall and proud… yet today, only one remains. Now he has challenged Pysgodyn Class to help bring them back to life.

To begin our journey, the children will imitate simple art techniques using powder‑paint background washes and bold black silhouettes. By combining these media with growing control and success, they will transform each Wonder into its former glory.

Our teachers have gathered everything we need for this creative mission:

    • A silhouette of each child’s chosen Wonder

    • 1‑inch paintbrushes

    • Card for the final artwork

    • Glass jars with clean water

    • Pots of powder paint

    • Palettes for mixing colours

    • Newspaper to protect the tables

    • Masking tape to secure the card

    • Sponges for the background wash technique

We can’t wait to see how Pysgodyn Class use their ideas, imagination, and developing art skills to recreate these remarkable places.
