The egg has finally hatched. What creature is inside - and what will it need to survive?
Draw your creature in the centre of a page and add labelled notes around it:
Name of creature
Where it lives
What it eats and drinks
What their home needs to be like
How it stays safe
One unusual or magical feature
A danger or problem to avoid
The key is to make it imaginative but believable.
Your creature may have one or two creative features, but its care needs must make sense.
For example:
Name: Frostwing Fox Home: A cool, shady den with dry moss Food: Berries, insects and small pieces of fish Special feature: Its tail glows softly at night Warning: Keep it away from hot places because its fur overheats easily.
