Welcome to Pod Pili-Pala 

This page will give you a small insight into a typical week in Pod Pili-Pala. Here you will find information of our regular activities and sessions.  

Dough Disco

We take part in Dough Disco daily. This activity helps strengthen children's fine motor muscles enabling them to develop their pencil grip which will in turn help develop their writing skills. But most of all it's fun!

Squiggle while you Wiggle!

Squiggle While You Wiggle is a fantastic approach to aid and stimulate early writing. We use movement to music to help develop our motor skills and get us ready for our writing jobs.

We love to have a go with our Flipper Flappers.

Welly Wednesday 

Children will take part in Welly Wednesday activities each week. Please ensure children wear appropriate clothing to school as we go out in all weather. We have waterproof trouser which the children will use in wet weather. Wellies may be left in school.

PE Fridays 

Please ensure children wear comfortable clothing and suitable footwear such as trainers.

Outdoor Workshops

We love to spend lots of time in our wonderful outdoor areas. We are very lucky to have a yard were we enjoy playing with the mud kitchen, diggers, bikes, cars and even our very own car garage and launderette. 
The setting also benefits for a super shelter where we paint masterpieces, practice writing skills and complete lots of challenges. We also enjoy exploring our lovely orchard. 
 

Relax and Refuel

During the afternoon children will enjoy relax and refuel time. Please send in a piece of fruit or veg and a water bottle clearly labeled with your child's name each day. (No squash or juice please)
