Supporting your child with their learning at home can make a big difference to their progress and confidence. Here you will find a range of resources to help, but don’t forget you can also visit the Pod – Flip Bits section to follow what we have done in school that week or term.
Here are a few simple ways you can help:
Read together regularly – even a few minutes a day helps build fluency and understanding.
Play 10 games on TTRS (Times Tables Rock Stars) each week to practise.
Talk about their learning – ask them what they enjoyed, found tricky, or are proud of.
Practise the TTRS sheets that come home to reinforce.
Use the maths chillis – we are reintroducing these this term. You can also go through any mistakes together to help strengthen understanding.
Your child may wish to create something for their Choice and Challenge showcase. Please discuss ideas with them. This could be a piece of writing, a craft project, an interview with someone connected to their topic.
Resources You Can Access in This Section
