Pysgodyn! 🐟 You are now fairground engineers! 🎢 Your job is to design the most exciting rides, the biggest game stalls, and the best food stands. But there’s a problem—how will you know if your rollercoaster track is long enough? If the Ferris wheel is tall enough? Or if the popcorn stand has enough space? Today, we’ll measure, compare, and design to make sure everything in our fairground is the perfect size. Get ready to explore the maths behind the fair!

L.O To order two or more items by length, height, mass, or capacity.

You can compare and sort fairground objects (e.g., tallest ride, longest queue, heaviest candyfloss tub) from shortest to longest, lightest to heaviest, or smallest to biggest.

L.O To estimate the length, height, mass, and capacity of familiar objects using a range of non-standard units

You can make sensible guesses about the size of fairground objects using things like cubes, hands, or cups before checking with a ruler or scale.

L.O To recognise and measure in centimetres using a ruler (Most challenging)

You can accurately measure fairground objects (e.g., ride tracks, tickets, game stalls) in centimetres using a ruler.
