We have had an amazing penultimate week! The Llion King performances were truly a smash hit, and I am sure you will agree that every pupil shone brightly on stage. You have been an absolutely brilliant audience—thank you for your amazing support!

 

I’m pleased to share that our grant for the marquee, amounting to £6,000, has been accepted on the condition that we organise six community events, along with a farmers' market, by the end of January. We successfully completed one of these events yesterday with "Miwsig yn y Marquee," which entertained over 60 community members. We are excited to announce that this  "Miwsic Yn Y Marquee" event will be repeated again next week!

 

We cannot thank you enough for your unwavering support throughout this term. The funds we have raised directly benefit our school, allowing us to invest in those little extras that enrich teaching and learning experiences. Pod Prycop have already enjoyed high-level flexible seating, and The Pysgodyns and Pengwins will be enhancing their "authentic" learning spaces in January, so we will keep you updated on this spending in the new year.

 

The governor AGM took place on Wednesday night, and while we are sad to say goodbye to Mrs Jane Houston, as our amazing Chair of Governors for several years, we are delighted to welcome Mrs Marrion Jenkins as our new Chair. We are looking forward to collaborating with her in the new year.

 

Next week promises to be busy with our Christmas raffle taking place on Monday. Thank you ever so much for all your generous donations and ticket purchases—your support means the world to us!

Pod Pengwin: The presents and I also love ice cream!!

Pod Pysgodyn: The presents - I run to my parents room and wait for my family to wake up and then we all go downstairs together! I feel so excited and happy!!!

Pod Pry Cop: Christmas dinner!! I love the nice food - the food is the best. I also love putting up my Christmas tree because we do it together and it is our family tradition of being together and putting up the tree.
