To help my child at school, I will do my best to:

• Make sure that my child attends school regularly and inform the school of any absences.

• See that my child arrives at school punctually and is collected promptly at the end of the school day by a responsible adult. School starts at 8:50 am. 

• Work with the school to ensure my child behaves well. 

• Attend ‘parents meetings’ and discussions about my child’s progress at school.

• Support my child with his/her home learning and reading.

• Let the school know if there any problems that may affect my child’s ability to learn.

• Reply promptly to any school correspondence.

• Try to make sure that my child wears his/her school uniform with pride.

• Try to make sure that my child remembers their P.E. kit on the appropriate day and has all the necessary equipment to be an effective learner.

• Raise any questions or queries about or relating to my child with the school staff in the first instance.
