  • Learning in Pod Pry Cop

Our learning in Pod Pry Cop is designed to be exciting, purposeful and connected. We plan learning experiences that develop knowledge and skills across the Curriculum for Wales, while giving pupils opportunities to explore their interests, ask questions and make connections across their learning.

Our projects are shaped around engaging themes and authentic experiences, with pupil voice helping to influence the direction our learning takes.

    How We Plan Our Learning

We use the Curriculum for Wales to plan meaningful learning experiences across the six Areas of Learning and Experience. Our planning starts with what we want pupils to know, understand and be able to do, while providing opportunities for them to develop the Four Purposes and important cross-curricular skills.

Take a look at the presentation below to find out more about how we plan, teach and assess learning in Pod Pry Cop.

    How Our Pupils Make Progress

Progress looks different for every learner. We support pupils to build on what they already know and gradually develop greater understanding, independence and sophistication in their learning.

Find out more about how we support progression in our Progression for Parents guide.

    Our Projects

Each term, our whole school explores a shared project. In Pod Pry Cop, we use this theme to create exciting and meaningful learning experiences for our pupils.
