Target 1:
- Pupils have recognised that there are more games in numeracy to help understanding and give a brain break.
- 'Hands on', practical maths on a Monday. This helps pupils learn more about the L.O before starting. Having fun but learning.
How we can improve:
- Pupils would like to focus on level challenge in the lesson.
- Pupils would like some chilli's printed and not use devices.
Target 2:
- Moving the books in Pry Cop has helped pupils to feel more independent about getting ready for lessons, as well as the timetable. This helps pupils to know which workshop they are in.
- New seating helps pupils to sit at a variety of heights and pupils have choice in their learning environment, e.g., can sit lower down if they want to kneel. Pupils like to have the opportunity to sit where they want.
- In Y Goedwig, pupils feel like the tasks are different every Friday and have freedom to complete tasks.
- Pupils like #LlanWoW because they feel like it is giving experience for the future.
- Caffi Cynefin helps pupils to learn new skills like cooking, personal hygiene and customer service.
How we can improve:
- Pupils would like to do more choice and challenge.
Target 3:
- Pupils have been involved in pod charter development under ready, respectful, safe.
- Pupils think that Gallery of awesomeness is a good thing, however, some pupils like names to be presented and others like behaviours.
- Most pupils like the points in assembly but some prefer it just to be sports day to ensure the points are fair.
How we can improve:
- All teachers to use ready, respectful, safe.
- More resources outside at lunctime.
