Another great week of learning in Llanrhidian! Planting Day was a roaring success and we are excited to see all the beautiful flowers grow and our grounds flourish. Thank you for all your donations, we are very grateful for your support.
Today, you will receive a link to the 'Pod Planning Overviews', which will provide you with an insight into the learning that will take place this term. All pupils have completed their EPIC (Everybody Planning In Class), and the teachers have aligned the skills required by pupils with the contexts raised by them, under the theme of 'Captenau Gwyr'.
Soon, you will receive an invitation to 'Paned yn y Pod' where teachers will invite you into the pod to have a chat about the organisation of pod life next year. This will be particularly helpful if your child is changing pod in September.

What's the buzz from the pupils this week? What are you looking forward to in school this term?
Pod Pengwin: I like to dance in school. I like to play with Miss Harris, she likes to play football and things.
Pod Pysgodyn: Maths. I love maths. Speedy maths and chilli's are great because you can use things to help you like a 100 square. I love learning new stuff.
Pod Pry Cop: Love Trails! Residential and athletics. I also just love playing all the sports!
Mr G's Online Safety Tip: How safe is TikTok? Using any social network can be risky, but it's possible for children to safely use the app with adult supervision (and a private account). TikTok also offers some tools for parents and caregivers to further limit how much time kids spend on the app and what they can see. Parents and caregivers can also use Restricted Mode to reduce mature content, or Family Safety Mode to pair their account with their kid's account and control settings completely.
