Our mission this year:
Consider implementation and design of the CfW across Science and Technology.
Pupil Voice Meeting held: 30.04.24
Discussed the following:
1. Practical investigations. Everyone was involved. Bar graphs have been effective at recording data. Pupils felt their knowledge had improved on the human body.
2. Improvements were linked to discussing jobs better before the investigation started.
Next meeting to discuss:
1. Learning environment. Use of outdoors. Plants.
2. Can we look into solids, liquids and gases?
Pupil Voice Meeting held: 30.01.24
Discussed the following:
Pengwin - Paper aeroplanes. Really fun. Learnt about flight trajectory and wind patterns. Want to look at rockets next.
Pysgodyn - Using cups and string to send sound and communicate. Does the size of the string change the sound?
Pry Cop - Stroop test. Understanding variables. The test involved the whole school so the data was good. Everyone felt part of it.

1. Data and graphs.

Discussed the following:
Pengwin - Different vegetable patterns. Did good drawings.
Pysgodyn - Tested the number of batteries and the brightness of a bulb. Learnt what went into a circuit.
Pry Cop - Graphs and data on Children in Need.
Next meeting to discuss:
1. More experiments, make things to help with the investigation (more hands on).

Discussed the following:
Pengwin - Built parachutes to see if they float.
Pysgodyn - How does current travel in electircal circuits?
Pry Cop - Shadows. How do they get bigger and smaller? How does light reflect?
