Fireworks Night

We will perform dances using simple movement patterns.

Music for the Royal Fireworks

Warm-Up: What shapes can you make? try making a circle, square, rectangle or triangle.
Wiggle: Flutter your scarf up and down your body, along your arms, up and down your legs. Can you make long, thin shapes by moving the scarfs up and down.
Fireworks: How can you make your scarf move like a firework? You might move your scarf in fast circles like a Catherine wheel or lift them quickly from the ground like a rocket or a fountain.
Fireworks Music: Listen to the music above. Move your scarf and body to the music as if you are a firework. Make large, high jumps; small, low jumps; long thin shapes or curled, spinning shapes.
Cool Down: The firework display is over and all the children have gone home.
