Time for us to meet the Jacks this week in Podlet Melyn.

We are going to help write and illustrate a new Christmas story.

First, lets learn how to draw the characters with the illustrator Tom.

Here are the top tips for rehearsing and performing your scripts:

 

  • Position - stand at an angle towards your group, but still facing the camera​

  • Head up - look at the camera when you are talkling​

  • Control - try not to move around much. It makes the camera lose focus ​

  • Speech - be clear, project your voice​

  • Pace - try to speak slowly and clearly

  • Know your script - Understand the role/character and the story/script​

  • Confidence - be confident, go for it, have a go, we are all trying the same thing ​

  • Facial expressions - tell the story through your face, instead of moving around lots
