How to use the Pod Pages!
We have listened to both parents and pupils!
To support learning at home and in school, a consistent approach has been agreed to place planning and preparation on the school’s pod pages. This enables all pupils to access this easily whether at home or in school. This includes:
Pod Flip Bits – Teachers share activities and resources from the workshops aimed at providing continued learning for pupils at home. The concept of ‘flip bits’ is for pupil/parent access to learning before, during and after lessons/sessions.
Home Quests: Expected tasks to be completed online e.g. reading eggs, MyMaths and Times Table Rock Stars.
Pod Project Overview: A description of the learning planned for the topic. This is very useful for parents and carers who wish to support their child or the pod with the topic.
Check in: Pupils in Pod PryCop only during school opening. This is a daily routine that pupils complete to share their well-being with the staff. This also give opportunities for pupils to share positives and/or any worries which are addressed daily. During times of school closure - this will be extended to the younger pods for completion at home.
