Our Topic This Term Is... FIZZ, FLOW AND FREEZE
Imagine a magical world where water loves to dance! First, it fizzles and bubbles as it turns into gas, like a pop popping in your glass. Next, it flows gracefully through streams and rivers as a liquid, sliding smoothly through nature. And then, it chills out and freezes into ice, transforming into a solid perfect for making snowmen or ice-skating. This fun water dance shows how water can be a gas, liquid, or solid, each with its own special moves. This term we are going to take a dive into the magical world of matter and discover if water really does bring life.
Cynefin: Cynefin is a Welsh word that cannot be directly translated into English but means a place of multiple belongings. This term we are focusing on embedding our Llanrhidian World of Work and making our Caffi Cynefin even better... watch this space!!

The following slides are an example of some of the learning we are planning this term. This is drawn from your child’s ideas from the launch day. As the topic unfolds and the children delve deeper, their ideas and interests may spark new, exciting changes, therefore some planning may change as we progress through the topic!
Please note that although we plan under each Area of Learning and Experience, we endeavour to make as many cross curricular links as possible.
