I wonder if you could explain what is a fraction?
Problem: During our walk in the Brecon Beacons, my family and I realised we only had one biscuit for lunch! How can we share it equally.
L.O: To identify halves and quarters of shaded objects and in practical situations.
L.O: to identify 1/3, 1/4, 1/2, 2/4, and demonstrates that all parts must be equal parts of the whole.
L.O: to find fractional quantities linked to known multiplication facts, e.g. 1/3 of 15.
