Happy New Year to you all! It is so wonderful to see all the children back in school, brimming with enthusiasm and ready for a new adventure. We are excited to announce the successful launch of our new topic, "Fare, Fair, Fayre." The pupils are already diving into planning their learning for the term, and it’s inspiring to see their creativity and curiosity unfold.

 

As you may know, we are due for an Estyn inspection starting January 20th. Thank you to everyone who has sent us supportive messages; we truly appreciate your kindness. Please remember to complete the questionnaire that was distributed this week. Every school in Wales undergoes Estyn inspections, and this process lasts just two and a half days, aiming to quality assure our education. At the end of the inspection, we will receive recommendations to help us improve even further. There is no need to worry – the children will love showcasing their wonderful school and the fantastic learning that is taking place.

 

We would also like to invite you to a meeting with the inspectors at 3.40 on Monday, January 20th. They would be delighted to engage with you about our school community.

 

Don’t forget to check out all the exciting events planned for this term; there’s so much to look forward to!  See at the table at the bottom of this blog.  In particular, the Young Farmers Breakfast Market will be a great event, please come along for a great morning to brighten up your January.

What's the buzz from the pupils this week? "What do you enjoy about outdoor learning?"

 

Pod Pengwin: I like going on the bikes, I like it when I go really fast!!

Pod Pysgodyn: I enjoy it when we do fun things like measure trees to see how tall they are... there is a proper way to do it you know!

Pod Pry Cop: I just love being outside. It's outdoors!! I love running around and using different skills outside. It's fun!
