Annwyl Parents and Carers,
What a fantastic spring term we've had! The topic 'Fayre, Fair, Fare' has been a wonderful source of inspiration for our learning, and we’ve embraced countless new experiences. From performing at the Brangwyn to a careers fair, this term truly has had it all and we are as ever, so proud of our school and our pupils. Not only that, but this term has seen the opening of our pupil kitchen, which promises to be an incredible new learning space for our pupils. Once again, thank you so much for your invaluable support; none of this would have been possible without you!
We all had a fabulous time yesterday at our annual Easter Bonnet parade. It’s so important for us to give pupils the chance to relish their youth—being creative and a little silly, the pride on their faces was a joy to see! The bonnets looked absolutely stunning, and your creativity never ceases to amaze us! Diolch!
We will be saying bon voyage to our lovely Mr Dowsett today. He has been a huge part of our school for many years and we are all going to miss him. I am sure he will love you popping along at the end of the day to wish him well. He is having a "proper" send off with staff tonight, and I know you will join me in saying good luck in your new role!
A few reminders for the summer term: we have an INSET day on Monday 28th April, but we can’t wait to welcome back our pupils on Tuesday 29th April for the launch of our next exciting topic, which we know will be brilliant!
Have a fantastic Easter break—we'll see you back in two weeks! Thank you for being a part of #TeamLlanrhidian!

What's the buzz from the pupils this week? What are you looking forward to doing over the Easter holidays?
Pod Pengwin: I am going over my auntie's house to hunt chocolate eggs!
Pod Pysgodyn: I am looking forward to seeing my cousins! We love to play games with her cats and we also love doing funny things like pretending to dye my uncle's hair yellow and pink!
Pod Pry Cop: Over the Easter holidays, I am looking forward to seeing my Great Gran and watching the Minecraft movie. I am also going to Italy, we are going to enjoy the sunshine, see the Colosseum, go to a lego expedition and at night we are going to look at the stars!
Mr G's Online Safety Tip: Help your child to know what misinformation is. The rise of digital platforms has made it convenient for individuals to share information online. However, it has also become challenging to differentiate between genuine and false information. What young people encounter on the internet can significantly influence their perception of the world and affect their overall health. Therefore, it is crucial to educate them about the spreading of misinformation and ways to identify it. Click here to read more information
