Annwyl Parents and Carers,
It is such a pleasure to finally see the sun shining over Llanrhidian! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended Parents' Evening this week. It was a wonderful opportunity to engage in face-to-face discussions about your child's progress and offer insight into what life is like for them at Llanrhidian. We hope you found the experience informative and valuable. Diolch!
Our Pod Pry Cop pupils have been participating in a North Gower Partnership cross-country competition over the past couple of months, which concluded on Wednesday. We are delighted to announce that the girls' team won a gold medal, and the boys' team secured a silver! What made the event even more special was witnessing the outstanding support our pupils showed for each and every participant, clapping and cheering them on until the very end. We are incredibly proud of the young people they are. Thank you to all the parents who came to support the team! Llongyfarchiadau!
On Wednesday, we had the privilege of being visited by Llanrhidian Lower Community Council, who kindly presented us with a cheque for £6,000. This generous contribution is a tremendous help and will cover the cost of our marquee for the year—an invaluable additional learning space. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Council for this support, as well as to everyone who contributed to making this funding possible through our Paned y Poeth, Musig yn y Marquee, and, of course, our fantastic Farmers’ Market.
Lastly, we are eagerly anticipating the Y3-Y6 pupils' choir performance at Brangwyn Hall on March 25th. If you have not yet secured your tickets, please contact Mrs. Gosney in the school office. Make sure to check out our upcoming events below.

Mr G's Online Safety Tip: Teach your child the importance of online privacy and safety. It is important for children to understand the significance of online privacy and safety as they begin to navigate the digital world through multiplayer games, educational apps, or online searches. Parents can help their children in understanding what information is safe to share and what should be kept private. By providing proper guidance and establishing general rules, children can enjoy themselves and gain knowledge while ensuring their safety online. Click here for more information.
What's the buzz from the pupils this week?
What do you think your teachers favourite hobby is?
Pod Pengwin: I think my teachers need to go home and relax because they have to do loads and loads of work.
Pod Pysgodyn: I think our teachers put their slippers on and watch TV because being in school all week is very tiring.
Pod Pry Cop: Mr Dowsett watches football and plays basketball and Mr Lisk plays rugby and football. I think Mrs Archard just sings!
