Annwyl Parents and Carers,
We’ve made it! A very happy half term to all! This term has been exceptionally busy, with our pupils thoroughly enjoying the 'Fayre, Fair, Fare' topic. Looking ahead, the next half term promises a plethora of exciting events, including our St David's Day Eisteddfod and Marchnad, World Book Day, and an extraordinarily special performance by our Y3 to Y6 choir at the Brangwyn Hall. Please be sure to contact Mrs Gosney in the office to secure your tickets! As always, further information regarding these events can be found in our 'Community Events' section below.
We are delighted to announce that our staff will begin participating in 'internal secondments' from the next half term. During this period, they will spend a week in a different pod to exchange best practices. This initiative also allows teachers to deepen their understanding of how pupils progress as they advance through the school. We eagerly anticipate the launch of this initiative, as we firmly believe that such interactions represent some of the most effective forms of professional development, ensuring our school continues to thrive. Therefore, keep an eye out for some Pengwin staff in Pysgodyn and some Pry Cop staff in Pili-Pala!

Mr G's Online Safety Tip: Instagram accounts have age restrictions. Instagram’s minimum age requirement is 13 years old to create an account. This aligns with the UK’s Children’s Code, which protects young users' privacy and safety online.
For under 18s, Instagram provides extra safety features, such as:
✔ Private accounts by default for 13-15 year olds
✔ Limits on messages from strangers to reduce unwanted contact
✔ Content restrictions to filter out sensitive material
Parents can also use supervision tools to manage their child’s settings and screen time. Ensuring your child meets the age requirement and follows these safety features can help create a safer online experience. Please click here for more information.
