Another fabulous week here at Llanrhidian, we have even had some tiny snowflakes this week indicating that Christmas must truly be on it's way!! You will have by now received all the relevant information regarding tickets for 'The Llion King' and 'Bethlehem Bake Off' - you really are in for a treat. The staff and children are working tremendously hard to put on some unforgettable shows for you!

This Week's Standing Items!

 

What's the buzz from the pupils this week? Cwestiwn yr Wythnos! "What learning have you enjoyed so far this term?"

 

Pod Pengwin: My favourite thing to do is play outside.  Our teachers say playing IS learning! 

Pod Pysgodyn: I really like the Christmas show learning, we all have a partner and film each other saying our lines and then worked out how to get better. I have LOVED literacy this term, it has been so fun... we have worked with different people. I also LOVE maths because the teachers are trying their best to make it fun and we are getting faster. We also have done lots of outdoor learning. 

Pod Pry Cop: This term I have enjoyed maths because it was fun maths, it was learning how to multiply by 10, 100 and 1000. I have enjoyed IQ, we have done a Welsh one, it had lots of interesting history to learn about. 

 

Mr G's Online Safety Tip: Recognise phishing attempts and suspicious links.  It is impossible to keep track of everything your child does online. Nowadays, there are multiple apps and games that are specifically designed for children, and they are using phones, tablets, and other smart devices to learn, communicate, and have fun. However, this also means that there are cyber criminals who are targeting children with fraudulent tactics like phishing. Click here for more information on keeping your child safe.
