On The Farm

On The Farm!

Hello, young farmers! This week, we're going to learn about the amazing people who grow the food we eat every day. They're called Champion Farmers, and they work hard to make sure our plates are filled with delicious and nutritious food. Let's start our journey by finding out what makes a farmer a Champion Farmer!

LO: Ask and responds simply to questions about their locality.

Delicious Tasting

LO: To recognise and identify different types of fruits and vegetables. #LanHealth

We're going to taste some yummy food that's grown by farmers just like the ones we learned about last week.

You might have eaten some of these fruits and vegetables before, but have you ever thought about where they came from? Who grew them and how did they get to our plates?

Well, today we're going to find out. We're going to taste some of the freshest, most delicious produce from our local farmers. And who knows, you might just discover a new favourite fruit or vegetable!

So, let's get started and see what tasty treats we have in store for us. Are you ready to taste some farm-fresh goodness?

Sorting Animals

LO: To compare two sets #LlanNum

You know how we have two legs and can walk around? Well, some animals have two legs too! And some animals have four legs, like our furry friends at home! Can you imagine what it would be like to have four legs instead of two?

We're going to sort our farm animals into two groups: those with two legs and those with four legs. Are you ready to get started? Let's count our legs and see which animals fit into each group!
