Suggested 15th June

Here are some suggested activities for week beginning 15^th June. Parents, please feel free to email me and let me know how your children are getting on with their learning. Please also email me if you have any questions.

This week our Unsung Heroes are Astronauts. 

Junk Modelling

Use recycled items from around the home to build a rocket

ship that will blast off to the moon.  

Numeracy

What materials can you use to practice wrting numbers. I have added some ideas for you below. 

Reading Eggs

Aim to use this programme daily with your child. If your child has not already done so please login and take the placement test as soon as possible. Parents - it's very important that the children are supervised during the test but resist the temptation to help them as the programme needs to place them at the most appropriate level. We will continue to use this programme in school when the children return. Staff will log in regularly to monitor the children's progress.

Welly Wednesday 

Can you create an astronaut helmet and see what you can explore in your garden or out on your daily walk. 

Moon Sand 

Mrs Parry shows you how to make your own Moon Sand. Why not add some food colouring to make it even more exciting.

Health and Wellbeing

Join in with this space theme cosmic yoga. 

Sounds

RWI - Set one Sounds

You might like to do 2 or 3 sounds a week

• Play I spy around you home and garden. Can you spot things that start with the sound?
• Practice writing the sounds with a paintbrush and water on your patio/path.
