Editing and Re-drafting at Llanrhidian!!
Editing at Llanrhidian focuses on two main objectives:
1. Encouraging to spot errors and fix misconceptions
2. Encourage pupils to look for opportunities to up level their work and make it even better!
Llanrhidian has developed a '5,4,3,2,1' which allows pupils to progressively build on their editing skills as they move through the pods and different stages of their learning.
Below are some examples of how we support pupils progression in editing. The skills change according to the learning objective and are adapted to suit the needs of our learners.
Pupil will also use 'Punctuation Pete' to help support their progression in punctuation. Meet Pete below!
