Expected Activities

1. Writing Challenge

Our local refuge collectors do an amazing job. Watch Mrs Parry's video to find out what they do. Can you write a thank you card or letter and leave it out for your local bin men or women? It would really brighten up their day!

2. Maths Challenge.

Sid has been a bit of a rascal this week!! Watch the video to find out what happened. Your quest is to use counters, fruit or other objects to make your own subtraction sentences.

Green Chilli Quest: Make subtraction sentences within 10 and take away 1.

Orange Chilli Quest: Make subtraction sentences within 20. 

3. Recycling Challenge

Messy Marchant helps Sid and Fflic learn about recycling. Watch the video to find out more. Talk to your family about how you recycle in your own homes. Can you send us a picture to show us how you help to recycle.

5. Y1 Spelling 

Please spend 5 to 10 minutes a day learning your words. Ask mum or dad to test you on a Friday. This is your last list of the term. Please go back over previous lists during the Summer holidays so that you don't forget them!
