It is official - Christmas madness is here! With angels, lions, and tinsel everywhere, the festive spirit is in full swing! All you can hear is singing, alongside teachers enthusiastically shouting "louder, slower…" as they rehearse for their shows. I can promise you, you will not be disappointed!

 

A gentle reminder to please send in your raffle tickets and money when possible. Your unwavering support in our fundraising efforts truly makes a difference. Every penny enables us to acquire resources that enhance our curriculum and subsidise enriching learning experiences. Without your contributions, our curriculum would not be as vibrant as it is.

This week’s Christmas Market was nothing short of magical, marking the best ever in Llanrhidian’s history! A heartfelt thank you to Oldwalls for their generosity and for making the evening special for our families. With over 30 stalls, I am sure you agree there was something for everyone. Special appreciation goes to Mrs Gosney AKA "Wonderwoman" for orchestrating this event, as well as to Mrs Parry and Mrs Blackmore for the delightful s’mores and turkey rolls.

 

As we approach the festive season, please keep an eye on our events page for happenings over the next few weeks, and do share this blog with friends and family to keep them informed!

 

A quick reminder that the Welsh Government states pupils should be drinking water throughout the day, not squash. If they forget their water bottle, staff will provide cups in their workshops. Should you wish for your child to drink squash at lunchtime, kindly send them with a separate bottle for the canteen.

What's the buzz from the pupils this week? Cwestiwn yr Wythnos! If you could have a super power what would it be?

 

Pod Pengwin: I would fly to go and see the dinosaurs!

Pod Pysgodyn: I would be invisible, I'm not sure what I would do but it would be fun!

Pod Pry Cop: I would be able to stay underwater as long as I want. This is because I want to see all the fish and sea creatures, I could explore all day long!
